Osram Partners Facility Solutions Group and Release New LED Fixtures to Push IoT Smart Applications

Promoting IoT applications in commercial, industrial and retail industries has been a major focus of Osram. The German company recently announced its partnership with Facility Solutions Group (FSG), a building technology system specialist design, integration, installation, for advanced smart building IoT solutions. Moreover, it also launched intelligent LED lighting fixtures for industrial IoT applications.

The collaboration with FSG will enable Osram to combine its fixture-integrated sensors, controls and components with FSG’s Encelium® Light Management System for operational efficiency improvement for commercial clients.

Fixture-integrated sensors and control modules by Osram serve as data nodes on a smart lighting network such as the Encelium® Extend Light Management System (LMS). The companies also plan to extend their combined efforts to include other solutions that further enable smart building applications and workplace enhancements.

Meanwhile, Osram’s subsidiary Digital Lumens who focuses on intelligent LED lighting and IIoT applications, reported its portfolio expansion of the new RLE intelligent LED fixture featuring socketed intelligence and an upgradeable smart sensor.
