Lumens Started the Supply of Micro LED Display Module in Indian Market

Korea-based Lumens made a stunning debut by delivering Micro LED display module called “MLD” in Indian market.

Last April,, Lumens confirmed that they will launch its products for an Indian pubic company with a famous display manufacturer in local market.

Lumens will be supplying Micro LED module to be assembled and installed by a local partner. First modules will be assembled for a 348” monitor and installed at the local city hall for control tower and around $5 million amount of sales are expected in public market

As the name implies, micro LED displays consists of arrays of microscopic LEDs forming the individual 0.8mm pixel pitch elements. No bezel, Seamless (Expandable), Higher reliability. (Flip Chip Applied) Micro LED offer better contrast, response times, and brightness.

MLD is an emerging LED module of Chip on Module (COM) technology. The new COM technology of Lumens is the groundbreaking solution for the limit of resolution of the current POM (Package on Module) technology. With the elimination of the main defection of LED (wire bonding), the Flip chip technology of Lumens displays a higher reliability.

Micro LED is the smallest LED which compared to OLED has a better durability and efficiency while also displaying better brightness, contrast and color display. Modular process is used which provides an advantage for large displays and has no limit in size, type and resolution.

Lumens is the front-runner of Micro LED display. In 2018 CES, Lumens displayed a 0.8mm pixel pitch 139” UHD Micro LED display which was the center of attention. In 2017, Lumens introduced Roll transfer technology for mass production and is currently under business this year. In addition, Lumens is becoming the technology leading company with over 100 patent applications.
