Inventronics Introduces Controls-Ready IP66/IP67 LED Drivers with Dim-to-Off Functionality — LED professional

The EUM-Mx family also simplifies wiring and deliveries an optimized solution to low voltage controls by utilizing Inventronics Controls-Ready features. The Dim-to-Off and Always-On auxiliary power of 12 V, 250 mA can easily be paired with various sensors and provides a transient peak up to 10 W to allow for more controls, such as radios that tend to spike power periodically.

The EUM-Mx is equipped with Inventronics Digital Dimming allowing users to have access to crucial data needed for driver health monitoring in a simple, easy-to-use and selectable manner. By implementing this proprietary feature through Inventronics programming software, users can utilize the 0-10 V dimming feature to read back data from the driver over a Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART). Digital Dimming provides a complete overview of the driver health diagnostics to allow users to reduce maintenance costs, perform preventative maintenance and asset tracking. This feature is a great option for those working with or developing custom control solutions since many microcontrollers have an exposed UART bus.  It also provides a faster communication bus allowing for dramatic lighting effects which are not available in some alternative communications options.

This new driver family is programmable via Inventronics programming software and currently offers two separate driver series. The EUM-200SxxxMx supplies the full 200 W of power from 700-5600 mA and the EUM-240SxxxMx supplies the full 240 W of power from 700-6700 mA. The EUM-MG models are equipped with a global cable that can be used world-wide to help reduce inventory SKUs and minimize overstock and the EUM-MT models bring the added convenience of UL Class P to allow manufacturers to quicken their speed to market.

The EUM-Mx utilize a proprietary encapsulation process, rugged extruded-metal housing and are IP66 and IP67 rated. They also maintain an industry-leading surge protection of 6kV (differential mode) and 10kV (common mode) and specially designed to operate in harsh outdoor conditions and demanding applications such as high bay, high mast and roadway lighting.

The EUM-Mx family is approved to UL, FCC, ENEC, CE, CB, CCC, PSE, KS, KCC and Independent Use standards. Please check with Inventronics factory or your sales representative to select the appropriate model based on certification requirements. Production quantities of the EUM-200SxxxMG, EUM-200SxxxMT, EUM-240SxxxMG and EUM-240SxxxMT are available now.  To learn more about these new drivers, please visit https://www.inventronics-co.com/compact-controls-ready-led-drivers/ and to receiving a quote, please contact your local Inventronics sales representative or distributor.
