According to Hongguang Lighting, the client is a listed semiconductor group and one of the top local enterprises. The group specializes in the R&D of patented chips and LED products applied to various solutions of electronic products. As a pioneer in LED and Mini LED products and technologies, the semiconductor business adopts the GaN substrate technology.

As specified in the partnership agreement, the two parties will establish comprehensive collaboration in various aspects including R&D, business development, patent application, customers services, and productivity sharing (particularly those related to Mini LEDs and semiconductors). Specifically, the two will jointly develop technical solutions and R&D projects associated with mobile communication, TVs, motor vehicles, smart home, traffic signals, and lighting.

Reportedly, Hongguang Lighting focuses on the design, development, manufacturing, contracting, and sales of LEDs, LED lighting products, and fast chargers. The company’s board of directors holds that signing this partnership agreement helps the firm to further consolidate its existing business.

Additionally, the agreement states that Hongguang Lighting is likely to develop various semiconductors (including LEDs) used in different electronic products together with its partner.
