I’m an ICU physician and have an idea for a medical device. I also have a background in materials engineering but I’m poor with making electronics.
I need to make a single circuit with a push-button on/off switch and LED bulb that flashes at a specific rate. It will sit for long periods without being used. It will need to be able to take a beating – literally. Something flat would be best. It will be housed in a specific type of fabric. Ideally, the whole thing should be the size of a bar of complementary hotel soap but can be bigger to accommodate a battery. The light should get your attention but shouldn’t blind you at roughly five feet away.
I’ve looked online for custom LED fabrication and my order isn’t big enough. I need ~ 5 of them. I don’t know anyone in my city that’s in the maker community.
If anyone could point me in the right direction to where I could have something like this made, I would greatly appreciate it. If anyone does custom fabrication and is interested, let’s talk. Thanks in advance!
