Sweden-based horticulture lighting specialist Heliospectra reported that it has re-branded its technical services under the new name, helioCARE. The company also revealed an order from a medicinal plant research facility in Spain.
With its expertise in intelligent lighting technology for greenhouse and controlled environment, Heliospectra offers a team of experts and a range of turnkey services to help growers and businesses to increase yields, accelerate harvests, and achieve consistent crop quality and production cycles.

The re-branded helioCARE service portfolio covers light analysis, light planning and customized light strategies, installation design and installation support, plant and light training sessions, crop and light consultancy, as well as commercial crop trials and pilot projects.
Heliospectra also reported a new order from a Spanish medicinal plant research facility. With the new order, Heliospectra is supplying its adjustable ELIXIA LED lighting solution for the research company to increase its greenhouse production.
For the business performance in 2018, Heliospectra reported an on-year increase of 26 percent for the net sales in 2018 at SEK 45.37 million (US$ 4.85 million). However, its gross margin dropped by 4 percent due to its pricing strategy and supply chain transition.
