Cree has reported the assignment of the company’s new CFO, Neill Reynold. The appointment will be effective on August 27th 2018. Reynolds will succeed Mike McDevitt at that time, per the transition plan announced in June.
Reynold has solid experiences in financial and industry leadership with his previous position at NXP Semiconductor as senior vice president of finance, strategy and procurement. He also served at General Electric (GE) for more than 14 years and left as CFO.
Gregg Lowe, the CEO of Cree, said, “Neill is an exceptional leader with vast experience within the markets Cree serves. We believe that Neill’s industry knowledge will help position Cree for continued success and support our growth plans. We thank Mike for his substantial contributions to Cree’s success over the past 16 years and are grateful for his support during the transition.”
