Size doesn’t matter. We’re a relatively small company. Experience does matter, and that’s where TheLEDLight.com can work for you better and more cost effectively than the big box stores or mega conglomerates. When you have a commercial LED lighting need that is boggling your mind, contact us. We may well be able to help. As an example, here are a couple of projects we’ve worked on the past month providing LED light bulbs and non-LED lighting products for commercial customers. Project A: A State Prison system had done absolutely the right thing by converting to solar power. o Problem: Obtaining 12VDC LED bulbs that are bright enough to provide task lighting and security lighting needed throughout the compounds. Our stock 12V LED light bulbs produce a maximum of 410 lumens, the equivalent of approximately 30 watts incandescent. Because they consume only 5 watts, they are ideal for many off-grid applications. You have sufficient light and the lower light output is balanced by the low power consumption. As you can imagine, however, a prison needs significantly more light output and fixtures are already in place which accept four light bulbs each. o Solution: Our factory was able to produce 9W 12V LED bulbs with a light output comparable to a 60W incandescent. The Prison system obviously needed to obtain a small quantity of samples before committing to a large purchase. For many LED companies, getting 12 samples prepared would be out of the question, regardless of the anticipated quantity. But for us, it was easy. Why? Because we’ve done business with our LED light bulb factory for many years. They trust us and we trust them. They serve us well so that we are able to serve you well. o Bottom line is – if you need a LED light bulb in significant quantity that you don’t see on our pages, ask Ron Smith for help. He’s the 12V LED bulb guru here. Even if it’s not in significant quantity, once a product is engineered such as these 9W 12V LED bulbs, we can order them for you as long as you are willing to wait for our next monthly delivery. Lead time is generally 6 weeks or so. Project B: A Lab in Europe had need of an energy efficient light bulb in a cold room. Cold … very cold … They originally wanted to sample our PAR Duo line of LED light bulbs because of their long life and durability. o Problem: There was simply not enough space to house the Duo’s or any of the other LED light bulbs we have in stock. o Solution: A non-LED light bulb. Another of our valued and time-tested factories produces LED and non-LED light bulbs, and when we must .. we must in order to service a customer. These incandescent bulbs are as energy efficient as incandescent bulbs come, and have a decent life expectancy at about 8,000 hours. They are designed for traffic signal lights, and so an withstand the cold. The smaller footprint fits into their existing housings so as not to have to go to the expense of replacing fixtures. o Bottom line is – we have the resources to suit all of your special order lighting needs. If you have a particularly difficult lighting problem, contact Mitchell Cohen, our specialty lighting procurement guru. Mitchell knows how to think outside of the box to find custom lighting solutions for you. Whether your need is for special order LED lighting or even for non-LED lighting, TheLEDLight.com is your source. How can we help you today with your commercial lighting project? By: Mary Wecker
