New LED Lights – Waterproof flexible LED strips that are submersible and new rechargeable battery packs for your portable LED installations

6/19/2017 7:51 AM

Your eyes are not deceiving you. Yes, this is flexible LED strip installed around the perimeter of a swimming pool. Hydrolume waterproof flexible LED strips are IP68 rated, are fully submersible, and won’t be damaged by chlorine, salt or treated water, or UV rays from direct sunlight. And what’s more, they are UL listed for safety. We’ve had many requests over the years, and now we have a solution for you. Not just for pools, this new LED strip can be installed in fountains, used in landscape lighting, on decks, in gardens, and in fountains and trellises.

There are two color temperatures (3500K warm white and 6500K daylight white) and two brightness levels available (75 lumens/foot up to 165 lumens per foot). By first ordering a small sample or two, you will decide exactly what is right for your LED installation. The product is then custom cut for you. End caps and lead wires will be factory installed in order to preserve your UL listing. You have no field cuts to make, no splicing to do, no waterproofing procedures to go through. Install it with brackets, ground stakes or channel, hook it up to your power supply, and plug it in. It just keeps getting easier to install professional grade LED lighting like you see in the technology magazines. Except for evaluation sample pieces, this isn’t something we expect you to just plunk into the shopping cart on the website. Once you’ve decided what it is you want, we’ll work with you personally and provide a quote with everything you need including dimming controls if you wish, and your power requirements. Surprisingly, the lead time for a custom order is only 5-7 business days.

We’ve introduced another new product this week which meets a growing need – battery operated LED lights and portable lighting. As LED lighting becomes more and more popular, we want to use it everywhere. Many times power isn’t available or a wire is impractical. Halloween is right around the corner, followed by the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s holidays. If you’re a Youtube fan, you’ve seen the outrageously creative costumes people have designed with LED lights. So just how do you keep those lights uniformly bright throughout the evening? Enter the rechargeable 12VDC battery pack. With a very short re-charge time, these battery packs can be used over and over and over again. Use it on your Halloween costume, then create an elegant centrepiece for your Thanksgiving table, and then deck the halls at Christmas time with colourful, versatile LEDs. And surely you won’t want to leave your LEDs home on New Year’s Eve. We have two sizes available: 3800mAh and 6800mAh. Which one you will need will depend on how much LED product you are going to use and how long you will need your lights to operate. Not just for the holidays, these rechargeable battery packs are great for displays, party planners and attention-getting trade show booths year round. And as always, if you aren’t sure how to figure out what you need, we’re here to help. Keep your eye on this blog, or bookmark our New LED Products page as we have lots of new LED lights coming over the next month or two. By: Mary Wecker
