We were excited to add crown moulding specifically designed to accommodate LED lighting earlier this year. Constructed of a super smooth, high-density foam, it’s easy to install and quite economical to ship. And it meets the strictest building codes with a Class A fire rating. This means that flame spread and smoke production are very low in the event of a fire in your home or commercial space. So what could make this excellent product even better?

Two things – a brighter, more densely populated flexible LED strip product and a reflective coating applied to the crown moulding itself. Our new 120 LED per meter flexible LED strips are built on a white circuit board with extra high power 3528 LED chips. Even though it is brighter than our 60 LED per meter 5050 flexible LED strip, it consumes less power. This reduces the number and/or size of the power supplies needed for those longer runs. The LEDs are so densely populated, the light output is smoother than ever, making it a great choice for cove lighting with LEDs. And now, our crown moulding will be offered with a reflective coating applied to the shelf where your flexible LED strips installed. This will be particularly useful for those taller ceilings where you will want to install your crown moulding farther away from the ceiling and up light a greater distance. The bottom line is our crown moulding is completely changing the way crown mouldings are being cut and installed today. No more jigs, holders, expensive tools, studs to find, complex-compound angles to cut, no clips, straps, brackets and nail holes to fill!
