Now you have the option to control your RGB colour changing LED lights with your phone or tablet August 6, 2015 It seems that every day there is yet another app available for your smart phones, and controlling your lighting is just one of them. Simply hook up your LED lights, download the app, and begin to create ‘scenes’. What that means is that you can devise lighting scenarios for different times of the day or night or for specific applications such as a party or dining. We’ve held off on offering a WiFi controller as some of the earlier ones were far too complex for the average homeowner. Not so today, so jump on in, the water’s just fine. Included with our new WiFi colour controller is a remote control device for those times you want to make your lighting choices even simpler. Point and click. It’s that simple. As an option, there are wireless receiving controllers which allow you to increase the operating distance and number of zones. For those with a bit more electronics savvy, you can also employ your wireless router without affecting its performance for other devices in your home or business. Not only is zone control desirable for the homeowner, but just think about what you could do with this in your retail space.
Design your lighting scheme for each zone, and turn it on or off, or even change it with ease.
For those of you who want to stick with conventional RGB colour controllers, of course, we still have those in various capacities and with or without a remote control. We also offer a unique in the wall RGB touch controller. Tired of hunting for the remote or have a problem with Fido taking off with it? There’s nothing to lose when you install your touch wheel controller right in the wall as you would any other lighting control. Any of our technical sales people can help you with ordering the product you need for your particular lighting application, but if you have questions specific to the new WiFi control, ask for Tony. Tony has spent a great deal of time and effort working with this new product and will be able to get you going in no time. Stay tuned, as we’ll be adding some very interesting new flexible LED strip later this month or in early September. We’ll sneak preview those items in this blog shortly.
