We’ve selected light fixtures that have plenty of room within the glass to accommodate energy saving LED light bulbs. But we also hear quite frequently from our customers online and in the store asking for LED low profile lights. They want to keep their existing fixtures, yet the space under the glass is too shallow to fit even the smallest of LED bulbs. Despair not! Now we have a low profile LED lighting solution which meets that need exactly.

Our new LED ceiling light retrofit kits are 8 1/4″ diameter and only 3/4″ thick. With a simple modular power feed and several mounting options, you can install these in minutes. They produce 1450 lumens which are pretty close to 100 watts incandescent output and are dimmable. 110 degree light spread makes for a nice, even illumination pattern. And best of all, our new retrofit kits are damp rated so they’re just fine for use in bathrooms. Are these LED retrofit kits just for round ceiling lights? No. They can be installed anywhere you have a 120VAC light socket. With square retrofits on the near horizon, your imagination is the only limitation to what you can do. Build your own light fixtures, install them in a porcelain socket above a translucent material to light a work surface. You decide. They are cUL damp location rated, ETL listed, energy star rated and RoHS compliant, making them ideal for use even in new construction and commercial installations. So don’t toss your old favourites.
