Blog – LED Low Profile Lights

LED ceiling light fixtures fit flush to the ceiling with very little clearance required.

Are you considering turning your basement into that recreation room you’ve always wanted? Or perhaps you could use an additional well lit work or craft area? Basements in particular sometimes have very little ceiling space in which to work. We have ideal LED round ceiling lights perfect for the job. Our 7″ diameter LED panel lights to produce about 600 lumens. Wide angle (120 degrees) provides a smooth, even illumination. Easy to install, these low voltage LED ceiling fixtures to operate at 24VDC. An AC-DC transformer simply plugs into an outlet. For those who prefer hard wiring, our dimmable magnetic transformers make it possible for you to control the lights with an ordinary household dimmer. What about colour and how do you choose? Our LED panel lights are in stock in two shades of white. 3000K-3500K is warm white. This is best for spaces with warmer colour tones. Think of red, orange, beige and brown tones, and darker wood tones when you think warm white. 6000-6500K is what we call daylight white. This is a crisp, very white light. It’s best for rooms with cooler colour tones. Think of white, grey, stainless steel finishes when you think cool white. And, if you’re up for something different, these LED low-profile lights can be ordered in red, green, blue, yellow and even RGB colour changing. With an RGB colour controller, you can select colours like pink, purple and aqua. You can also enjoy a range of different chase and colour cycling patterns. When you need brighter light output or denser coverage, opt for a larger LED ceiling light fixture. Round panel lights are available in 9.45″ diameter(900 lumens) and 11.8″ diameter (1100 lumens). Rectangular and square panel lights are as bright as 3600 lumens. That’s the equivalent of about 450 watts incandescent with a power consumption of only 72 watts. These larger panels can be suspended or installed in ceiling recessed applications. Because they are so low profile, any of our LED panel lights can even be wall mounted.
