Great as LED cabinet lights, for your LED landscape lighting projects, and even for arts and crafts.
There is no job too large or too small for LED lighting. Today, we’ll offer you some low-level lighting options for those smaller, more subtle lighting jobs. The smaller of the two single LED lights is our Northstar. Just a touch more than 1 inch wide and 0.875″ tall, the Northstar is the LED light of choice for those LED cabinet lighting jobs when you want to highlight an object without a lot of spill-over light. They can be installed facing up or facing down. Many of our customers use these to up light transparent objects such as glass or crystal. These are flush mount LED lights, designed to function in high moisture areas, so they can even be used outdoors as long as the area is well drained and the light not subjected to submersion. Colour options are cool white, warm white, amber, blue, green and red. With a power consumption of only 20 milliamps, not only can you run up to 40 of them on an inexpensive 1 Amp AC-DC transformer, but your power consumption is so minimal, you can leave these on all night without power bill worries. Light output is 30 to 60 lumens, just enough for a soft glow. When you need a light source to deliver more lumen output, move up to our flush mount LED lights with a single Cree XPG LED. Engineered to operate between 8-15 VDC, these flush mount LED lights can handle a 32V spike for up to three minutes without damage to the LED. That makes them ideal for use on boats, RV’s and solar systems. The profile is larger, 1.875″ wide x 1.26″ high and the light output is up to 98 lumens depending on your choice of cool white or warm white. With a power consumption of only 2 watts (200 milliamps), these too can be operated all night without electric bill shock. A hotel recently purchased a quantity of these flush mount LED lights to install in the ceiling over the bathroom toilets. Not only is that a convenience for their customers, but it’s a safety feature as well. No more groping for the light switch in unfamiliar circumstances. Also weather resistant, these single LED lights can be installed in soffits and railings as a downlight or can be used in masonry, stone or block wall LED landscape lighting designs. What’s particularly interesting about these single LED lights is your choice of lens type. The prismatic lens option will add sparkle and clarity to the light output, while the translucent lens option softens the light to provide a soft glow. While they last, an earlier version of these larger single LED lights made with 5mm LEDs is available in amber, blue, green and red. Both of these single LED light options are USA LED products. Is there a low-level lighting project we can help you with today? We’re here to serve you.
