As early as 2005, we offered a single LED lamp reading light. That was back in the day when 3mm and 5mm LEDs were the only option for producing a product like this. It was state-of-the-art technology at the time, but as newer, high-powered LEDs came into being around 2007, it was time for a change. The new Night Reader sported a 1W high power LED for considerably more brightness. At the same time, we strengthened the flexible neck in order to support the larger head. Three years later, we introduced an even brighter 3W LED. Now you’re talkin’, right? Yet you wanted more from your flexible LED reading lamps, and so we worked on the development of this product again. In 2012, we found a way to convert your LED clamp reading lights into flexible neck LED wall mount reading lamps. Simply remove the C-clamp and attach the wall mount accessory. And earlier this month, we added yet another useful option. Now you can convert your flexible LED clamp reading lights into LED desk lamps. A stable, sturdy round base can replace the C-clamp. This is portable LED lighting at its best. Use your Night Reader flexible neck LED lamp clamped to a work table. Then take it with you for use as a bedside reading lamp. Need a light at your desk? Attach the round base and you’re good to go. If an item is outdated, sometimes, as in this case, we can update the LED part of the product without changing the features you want and need.
