“The warm golden glow of a dimmed halogen lamp that people are so accustomed to and enjoy is easily reproduced with our warm dimming module,” said Tom Jory, VP of Illumination. “With our IC on-board, OEMs can use a standard driver, connect to standard dimmers and easily offer a cost effective warm dimming solution.”
Luminus Warm Dimming Modules replicate the behavior of traditional bulb technology by dynamically changing CCT from 3000 K to 1800 K or from 4000 K to 2700 K as they are being dimmed. This “dim-to-warm” effect provides a relaxing, human-centric environment that is prized in restaurants, bars, hotels, retail, and residential environments.
Luminus is the only LED supplier offing a choice of dimming curves, with either halogen-like or linear-style effects available across all four light emitting surface (LES) options (6, 9, 14, and 18 mm) and both CCT ranges. The modules are UL listed and have 9,000 hour LM-80 data at 250mA per LED with L90>36k hours, thereby enabling DLC premium.
Luminus CCT Tunable Modules are unique two-channel solutions available with LES diameters of 9, 14, 18, and 22 mm. The two independent channels (warm and cool) deliver CCTs ranging from 6500 K to 2700 K or from 4000 K to 1800 K. This wide range of color control and tunability provides luminaire makers with flexibility in designing human centric lightning applications with independent CCT and dimming control. Like the warm-dimming modules, the CCT Tunable modules are UL listed and have 9,000 hour LM-80 data at 250 mA per LED with L90>36k hours enabling DLC premium.
