A quick update on this sought after 9 volts LED Flashlight. We were very sad some time ago to announce that our long-term friend and business associate, James Meyer, had passed. Our stock of PALight LED flashlights has long since been depleted. And yet, every week we get several e-mails from customers wanting to purchase more. What’s so special about this palm sized LED flashlight? It’s been a favourite for many years. One of the high points is that it operates on one 9 volt battery while many of the newer technology LED flashlights switched over to CR123A’s. 9-volt batteries are inexpensive and readily available. And the PALight can even get several hours of useful life out of used 9-volt batteries. Changing your smoke detector batteries? Don’t toss them! Keep them around for your PALights. One of my favourite features is the always on mode. Ever drop your flashlight in the dark? I certainly have and have groped around under the seat of the truck in vain. Not with the PALight. That soft glow makes it easy to find no matter where it’s gotten dropped or found it’s way to the very bottom of that oversized purse or too full glove compartment. The PALights have three modes: Full power, low power and strobe. Conserve battery power when you don’t need the full light output this little flashlight provides. The strobe mode can be literally life-saving. It can be seen from about 1/4 mile at sea, in the mountains or deserts! 8 days of non-stop strobing on a fresh 9V battery. Needless to say, a survival light like this is a must have in every backpack and emergency kit. The Company’s website has been down for quite some time. However, we’re encouraged by a post on their Facebook page that the PALight will be coming back. When? We aren’t certain but are keeping our fingers on the pulse and will have them back in stock here at TheLEDLight.com as soon as we are able. We’re maintaining a list of interested customers. So if you are one of the many, many PALight fans, email us. We’ll keep you posted.
