Blog – The Pal Light Flashlight

What’s become of this super little 9 volt LED Flashlight? Will PAL Lights be available anymore? The PALight Survival 9 volt LED Flashlight These amazing little pocket LED flashlights have been with us from our very beginnings in the late 90’s early 2000’s. They can even suck power from 9-volt batteries you change out of your smoke detectors every year (or at least we hope you do!). These PAL Lights have been a favourite of pilots for years. Red, green and blue light is particularly useful in the cockpit. Pilots have reported to us that the white PALlight is sufficient to perform pre-flight checks. Lots of goodness in a small package indeed! If you’ve been a fan of LED flashlights over the years, you may remember Rocky and the various evolutions of the PALights as applies to lenses and LEDs. Along came James Meyer. He brought stability and choices to the consumer and has managed his business in the most ethical and knowledgeable way. James has become a personal friend. Though we have not met personally as he is in the UK and me in the US, we’ve communicated on numerous occasions and have developed a very warm relationship. I have found him to be the best kind of “Pal” in every sense of the word. I was notified last month that my dear friend James is quite ill. He does not know at this point whether or not he will be able to continue to fulfil orders. He has not commented about the future of the product line at this time. We await news and pray for his full recovery. At this time, we have no more whitePALlight Survival in stock. We do have cones, lanyards, PALight Survival in red, blue and green in limited quantities. Questions? Contact us at [email protected] attention Mary. Thank you so much for your years of support and continued business. We appreciate that very much.
