Keep your installation safe and permanent with the proper enclosures..NEMA Enclosures for Power Supplies for LED Lighting We’ve been asked, particularly by contractors, for an ETL approved metal enclosure for LED power supplies, so now we have it to offer. As you may know, the line voltage terminals on some power supplies are exposed. To comply with national building and electrical codes, those live terminals must be protected and the supply itself installed on a permanent basis. This new NEMA enclosure fills that need. Have a look at the data sheet. This enclosure is built to fit our 200W and 300W supplies. It has mounting tabs, mounting holes and knockouts for your wiring. There are vent holes which line up with your power supply’s fan. There are also ground studs with a ground bond jumper. And, if your installation requires a larger supply, we can obtain the correct enclosure for you. Incidentally, if you need a larger supply than offered on our website, be sure to ask us. We can have much larger supplies here in a matter of two days in most cases. Our installation accessories for LED lighting department has grown over the years. The 86 box is 86 mm square. It is a very common configuration in Europe, but not so easy to find here in the USA. We’ve obtained a supply of these to fit our square RGB touch controllers so you don’t have to do the hunting. We want to be your one-stop-shop for all of your LED lighting needs. Another recent development – In light of regulations concerning airline security, customs will no longer permit any type of liquid and that includes the small tubes of waterproofing glue necessary for sealing waterproof flexible LED strip if you are going to cut it in the field. As a result, we’ve brought in thousands of brackets and end caps that you can order very inexpensively along with a tube of Silicone sealant. When all is said and done, this will be more economical for all. It’s a probability that many of the waterproof kits previously enclosed with each reel have been tossed by users who aren’t going to field cut the strip. So you were paying for something you didn’t want or need. And for those who were field cutting, sometimes there were too many clips and end caps in the kit and sometimes there were too few. Now you get just what you need with no waste. 16-2 (2 conductors) and 16-4 (4 conductors) wire for single colour and RGB LED products have been available here for a very long time. Once again, there has been a fairly recent change. We used to sell wire in multiples of 10′. However, There are going to be times that you will need less than that. For example, when installing a colour controller, you may need only 1 or 2 feet to make the connection between the controller and the power supply. We don’t want you to waste and we don’t want you to have to run down to the supply house for little bits of something. So now you can order as many or as few feet of wire as you’d like. We’ve even added common installation accessories such as butt splices and offer shrink tube in three different sizes to accommodate your particular installations.
