Blog – LED Fun Stuff for the Summer Season

It’s a LED dive light, a personal safety strobe, and waterproof lighting you’ll want to take along for summer boating activities. Naturally buoyant, the Microlight XT LED Wand even floats. Oops! Light overboard?? Just scoop it up with a net. This multi-function LED light is a green replacement for chemical flares and glow sticks. For use as a LED dive light, it’s depth rated to 500 feet (150 meters). The wand itself provides an illuminating glow. It also has a polished end which projects a spot beam. As you probably already know, LED lights can operate much more hours on batteries than an incandescent source can. The Microlight XT will give you a runtime of about 22 hours on a fresh set of batteries. It uses two economical 2016 coin cells which are easy to replace. As an added benefit, there is a built-in storage compartment which holds a spare set of batteries for you. It’s always ready to go. Compact and easy to store in the glove compartment, the Microlight XT also doubles as a LED traffic baton or personal safety strobe. It has a high beam, low beam, strobe and signal mode. Although smaller than our professional LED traffic batons, it sure could come in handy during a roadside emergency. LED colour choices are red, white and blue. If you’re looking to celebrate the forthcoming US holidays, pick up a trio. With all of that being said, I’m scratching my head … This versatile and practical LED light has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Why? Who knows? Perhaps it didn’t sell as well as the marketing mix powers that be projected. All I can say is that this has been multi-function light, well received by our customers.
